Escape the endless forest with your team of bugs. There's a corruption nearby making anyone you find an enemy at first. Fight your way through with strategy and teambuilding.

Evolve one of your surviving bugs after each fight. If there isn't a higher evolution, they ascend and give your team a permanent buff. Balance keeping the units that synergize with your team and stacking their powers for future versions of your team.

Played exclusively with clicking, recruit one bug after each fight. You can look at stats in the recruit menu.

Made for the 2D Spring Jam 2026 following the theme of evolution.

the art is so cute! and the attack sfx sounds are satisfying. took me a minute to get used to the mechanics, but once i did i had a great time watching my bug army do their thing - great concept. 

one piece of feedback i could give - maybe an sfx volume slider. sfx sounds are maybe a tad louder than in-game music. (but ofc 48hours doesn't lend itself very well to "nice to have" QoL features!)
